The 13th European Workshop on Advanced Control and Diagnosis (ACD 2016) will take place at the Graduate School of Engineering "Hautes Etudes d'Ingenieur" of Lille, France.

In 1885, HEI was founded in Lille, by the Industrial Leaders of Northern france, to meet their engineering needs. HEI has since extended its activities to the training of polyvalent engineers, open-minded to the world, humanistic in managerial approach. The scool continues to pursue this mission through three core activities: the training of engineers and executives, industrial applied research and development and the providing of extension services to the business world. some few figures: 15114 Alumni, 2000 students, 200 full-time teaching staff, 350 part-time teachers, 12 majors and 90 Partner universities, 3 main research disciplines: Electric Networks and Intelligent Transport, Innovative Materials and Process, sustainable chemistry and Health. HEI ha been part of the HEI ISA ISEN Group since 2012.
